BabyN' Goes to Diggerland Theme Park- Kent, UK

Located in Strood, we went to Diggerland Kent for some family fun and thrill last weekend. The weather was perfect for some outdoor action, and this UK theme park is somewhere I’ve been wanting to go since some time, but have been waiting for BabyN’ to be old enough so he could enjoy the rides too. He’s a huge fan of diggers and construction equipment and loves playing with them outdoors, especially in sand.

At the entrance, we were provided a ride height chart to ensure we're aware of the rides BabyN' could sit on. Most of the rides are included in the entrance ticket, however there are a few coin operated rides such as the Dodgems, Cars and Quads too. Also, there are a few rides such as Spindizzy that's not advised for expectant mothers to ride on.

Diggerland Kent also has a cafe for visitors to sit or stop for a bite or a drink after all that digging. With both covered seating in the restaurant and tables with benches in open spaces, the visitors can either purchase food from the cafe or can enjoy their own picnic. A variety of food caters to all kinds of people with different dietary requirements such as Vegan, Halal or Gluten free options.

Prior to the visit, I wasn't sure about the theme park having a Halal menu, but was glad to know they had a decent menu for their Muslim visitors to choose from and these included options for both adults and kids (burgers, hot dog, shawarma, kebab, nuggets, to name a few!).

The indoor play area for kids includes a soft play area, jumping jack, coin operated rides and massage chairs (£1 for 3 mins) for adults to sit and relax. Just outside the soft play area was some space for the little ones to enjoy.

We had an amazing fulfilled day at Diggerland Kent, and it is definitely a great family friendly attraction for everyone. I would however advise taking kids at least 90 cm or more to make the most of what the park has to offer.

Besides Kent, Diggerland is also located in Durham, Devon and Yorkshire, perfect for both girls and boys alike. Also, if you check-in on Facebook once at the attraction, you can be in a chance to win a family ticket and the diggers also get a free certificate at the exit. Moreover, Diggerland also has a gift shop with lots of JCB toys, clothing, and other things that can purchased to keep as a memory.
