Afternoon Tea with the Tigers at Paradise Wildlife Park & Red Letter Days
I never miss a chance of a family day out at the zoo or any place that has animals around, not because I want to reminisce my childhood days adorning the wildlife, but BabyN' enjoys such excursions the most and I've now realised that I feel happier going to places where he's excited to visit. I remember going to the zoo trips with family, when I was young and it was either for recreation or for school projects. I was kindly invited by Red Letter Days for a tour of the big cats and afternoon tea with the Tigers at the Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. Paradise Wildlife Park has some of the most exotic and endangered species that can be found in the world, and these also include the nature’s most majestic animals, the lions and the tigers. They offer various kinds of tours and experiences with animals, which are not just safe but very educational too.
Since we were going from Kent, it took us a while to reach but the ride as we reached near to the park got interesting because of the sloppy road which was surrounded by lots of farms. Eventually after reaching, we parked the car in their car park which was free of cost and headed straight to collect the wristbands from the Discovery Center. You can check out the prices and other information regarding the tickets from their website, but I would definitely recommend the VIP pass because it includes everything and Paradise Wildlife Park is definitely a fabulous place for spending quality time with kids.
Paradise wildlife park not just has a decent variety of animals, but also offers other activities such as indoor and out play area including a Lego play area, and rides such as a very interesting train ride. I really loved the variety of the animals in the park and how well they've been kept.
Our tour guide, Steve, was really interesting and shared lots of information with us which really was impressive, and the most captivating moment was seeing the video of the birth of the newly added lion cub. He took us around one of the enclosures and enlightened us about the animals, their background, some interesting facts about them and the history of the park itself. Generally, we don't really get to know much about the animals when we're visiting on our own but the tour enabled us to add some information about the animals to our knowledge.

After the tour ended, I got some time to enjoy afternoon tea with the tigers and some lovely bloggers, at the Tree Tops Cafe. We had lots of delicious and yummy goodies such as a variety of sandwiches, cakes, scones and crisps to choose from and it was great having tea with one of the best views at the Paradise Wildlife Park onlooking the Tiger enclosure and getting to see those beautiful animals from close.
I would definitely recommend this place, as it's worth spending time and BabyN' enjoyed the trip a lot!
