Pick N Melt - Wax Melts Review + Luxury Candle Giveaway
You know how much I love scented candles? ALOT! I've got lots of different candles at home, some are tea-light, some are scented and stress-relieving candles and some are party candles but the most recent addition to my stash has been the Pick N Melt wax-melts.
Wax melts have become really popular nowadays and they're available at different stores in different varieties and scents. The ones I have been trying are by Pick N Melt and I am really impressed with the range they offer. Their variety of wax melts is more than amazing so you have a lot of choice. Really!
They have floral and fruity summer scents of citrus to cinnamon and spice for winter, funky and blends, and now they have also introduced a Christmas gift pack (£12) which contains a ceramic tea-light wax warmer that comes in a candy striped box and 16 assorted wax melts of different fragrances that come in a quirky paper bag. Since it's the festive season, you can opt for cocoa and log fire, Christmas spice, mistletoe and wine, frankincense and myrhh, snow and their festive tree wax melts. I got all these and they are all amazing!
When my package arrived, I could see that it had been packed with care to ensure that it reaches the end-user in the perfect condition. The wax melts are made from sustainable, natural soy wax and have been hand poured in the UK! All the melts come in individual pack of 6 but it is totally up to you to mix and match and customize your order.
I've been using the ceramic tea-light wax warmer and I simply burn a tea-light and keep my wax melts on the top. The melts turn into a liquid and spread the scent all over the place within 5-10 minutes (depending on the size of the room).
Since I sit in my son's room during the day, I had kept it on his book shelf and the aroma was lovely. The best thing is that even after the candle stopped burning, I could still smell the lovely scent. I love candles and feel that they just make the environment peaceful and calm. However, you need to be careful of where you plan to place it. Just be careful to keep it away from the reach of children and your pets.
There is another option for melting the wax melts too. You can also buy an electric wax melt (£12) that just needs to be plugged in and it will do the work. They last a lot longer than a traditional wax warmer and you won't need anything to warm it and so you won't have to worry about the burning the tea-light candle either.
Check out the Pick N Melt variety of wax melts and their Christmas gift packs here and YES, I also have a luxury scented candle to giveaway to one of my lovely readers. So don't forget to enter the giveaway through the Rafflecopter below. They would make a lovely Christmas present so even if you don't win, you can always order one for yourself or for your loved ones.

ReplyDeleteIt depends on the season for me which aromas I go for in candles/melts. I really love floral in spring and summer; so rose, sweet pea etc. Then in Autumn I tend to go for freshly washed linen type smells and in winter it's all about Christmas - so orange, cinnamon, pine etc. I always light a candle when I get in from work.
