Aquatiere Shower Filter Review + Giveaway
If you've read my last blog, you would know how picky I am about things
and how much research I conduct before actually swiping my credit card to make
the purchase. Decisions. Decisions!
That's indeed very time consuming and sometimes gets frustrating as well but
it's totally worth if you don't want to end up with a crappy product that
brings nothing but disappointment.
When I moved from the North East to Kent in the South East, I felt a
major difference in the quality of tap water. It was clearly apparent from some
of the factors that the water was really hard and this was also supported by
the website that confirmed about the quality of water in my area. I got know
all the details about the hardness of tap water that comes to my home, from
this website. Unfortunately, you will only be able to check out the results for
yourself if you’re a customer of Southern Water but I would advise you to check
your local water provider’s website as they may offer the same service too.
Depending on the amount of the minerals such as magnesium and
calcium that occur naturally in the water, the hardness of the water is
determined. Something had to be done about it and the best solution I could see
was to get a water filter for the house. It was really challenging to choose
from the endless options available in the market so I happily accepted the
product when I was offered by Aquatiere.
The company offers a range of filters for your entire house that vary in
prices. I opted for a shower filter because that was SUPER easy to fix and
sounded effective. When the product arrived, it hardly took a minute to install
the new filter that came along with the shower head. It was that simple! Also,
I’d say BEST for a rented property as you can easily take it along when you
move. They do have a range that can be permanently fitted but that requires a
qualified plumber to do the job until and unless you're really a pro at DIY.
Enough said.
I would now move on to my own shower filter that I have now been using since 2 weeks. My Spring Shower Head with Ergonomic Handle Including Filter (£22) is actually a new design that comes along with a time-ring which will let you know about when it needs to be replaced.
Spring Shower Filter Giveaway
The shower water filter aims to provide chlorine free water and helps
those with eczema or skin problems. Besides that, it has been developed to
reduce scale, enhance pH balance, save water while you shower and is suitable
for most of the shower fixtures. Comes with a life span of up to a year, after
which you can easily replace it with a new cartridge that costs £18.
I really like the way the water sprays out of the shower. The pressure
and the flow of the water is really smooth and there's nothing like a warm
shower for a mum who's on her toes all day. I'm beginning to feel the
smoothness and softness in my hair without having to expose them with a
conditioner every time I wash them.
Aquatiere has been kind enough to offer a shower filter to one of my
lovely readers and the best part is that the giveaway is INTERNATIONAL. YESS!
You can simply enter to be in a chance of winning your very own filter
with shower head.

This is an excellent idea. We are currently in the midst of a severe drought and with dam levels sitting at 17% the quality of water is dire even to shower with. This would be a great help and something I hadn't even thought of.
ReplyDeleteIt sure would. I am planning to install a filter or a water softener for the entire house in the future.
DeleteThis is some really cool technology. It would be interesting to see the difference before and after the filter.
ReplyDeleteFilters or water softeners are really good if the water supply in your area is hard.
DeleteThat would be amazing for my home too. I live in the South of England and I have notice how harsh the water is down here. If before I moved here my hair was doing fine without conditioner, now it's a must, otherwise I'll never see the end of "broom hair". I entered the giveway, maybe I'll win and get a chance to test it out :)
ReplyDeleteI've experienced the same after moving from the north to the south. The water here is really harsh.

DeleteGreat review on this product! We filter our water to drink and never thought about filtering the water we use to shower in. Such a great and helpful idea for those with skin issues.
ReplyDeleteThat's right. For those with either skin issued such as eczema or on a whole to improve the quality of the water.

When the day is chaotic - whether from work or running errands - coming home and shutting out the rest of the world can bring a deep sigh of relief. Along with closing the door and locking out the stresses of reality, having a special space inside the house where a tired body can rest and relax is also important. Many homeowners choose their master bathroom to create this special sanctuary. sprite shower filter review
ReplyDeletethis is such a great idea, its amazing what you can do nowadays.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea
ReplyDeleteLove this idea harsh water plays havoc on my skin and hair and this would be better for the family
ReplyDeleteGreat gadget, love to try and find out the difference especially with my little man who has baby eczema
ReplyDeleteGreat gadget... I've been looking into filters for my home now... hoping to win inshaAllah x
ReplyDeleteOooo, this would be perfect for us. We rent and can't use our shower anymore because the head is clogged with limescale. I've never lived in such a hard water area as we do now. I use a water filter for the kettle or it gets furred up in just a couple of days. We now have to have baths, which is inconvenient in the mornings, I've tried using vinegar to get some of the limescale off the shower head, but the water still only dribbles out, you can see where it's all clogged up. This shower head is a brilliant idea.... I didn't even know you could get them. Also, as we rent, great that you can take it with you.
ReplyDeleteoh I do love the look of this
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a fantastic item to have. I have to change my shower head frequently mainly because of limescale, our water is terrible x
