Dreamland Margate - Amusement Park Celebrates 1st Birthday!
Dreamland amusement park in Margate (Kent, UK) just marked it's first birthday on the 18th of June. Now FREE to ENTER and pay per ride, Dreamland Margate welcomes everyone to their pleasure park to enjoy the retro-fitted rides.
Dreamland Margate is a world of fun and thrills that enables visitors to either choose from pay per ride or ride unlimited with a choice of wristbands. These can also be purchased online and are in fact, cheaper if purchased online prior to the visit.
The park offers different thrill rides for all ages and is the perfect place for a spending a family day-out. There are also on-park entertainment and performances of the bandstands to keep the visitors entertained.
Besides the rides, there is a separate gaming arena for children to play games, skate and enjoy food and refuel at the their food court which has a good choice of food. However,
I would be happier if they added a few more options for vegetarians because the only thing I could find was a Halloumi burger.
For the children under 8, there is also a place for soft play called Octopus's Garden Play Area where they can enjoy.
If you wish to go in a group of 15 or more people, there is also a different rate available.
They have ample parking available at the own parking lot of Dreamland Margate and it costs £1 per hour.
Check out the website of Dreamland Margate for opening dates, timing and prices, or anything you wish to know, here.
Tell me about your favourite ride at the amusement parks.

How fun! I love amusement parks. As a kid, I liked the silly silo (the ride that spins around, the floor drops, and you're stuck to the wall). I don't think my stomach could take that anymore! Now I'm wimpy and I like the teacups!
ReplyDeleteHehe yes! Same here :-)
DeleteLooks like such a fun amusement park. What would be your favourite ride?
ReplyDeleteI opted for the baby rides. No thrill rides for me.
DeleteAmusement parks are the best places to spend some time with family or friends. Disney parks are also the most visited parks in the world.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely going to Disneyland in a few years.
DeleteOh my the Jumpin' star seems so fun!! Or the shed! I've heard about this amusement park before however haven't got into details. Glad I know more about this now!
ReplyDeleteThey have free entry now. Just pay per ride.
DeleteI had no idea that Kent even had a theme park but I am glad that it does because that would be another cool place to tick off my list!
ReplyDeleteKent has beautiful beaches too! :-)
DeleteAmusement parks are fun to visit! I'm not eager to go for any rides though, but it's great to watch kids as they are always so super happy there :D
ReplyDeleteHaha same here!
DeleteCool! Perfect place to celebrate birthday. great that entrance is fee and you could jsut opt and pay for the rides you want. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's indeed a good option.
DeleteAmusement parks are always fun and it's great to take the kids there during the summer. Dreamland looks awesome! I'm used to having to pay for entrance, but I think this is a better solution, so people can still go and explore the whole place without having to pay.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! People like me don't like all kinds of rides.
DeleteI think amusement parks are fun. But I am not one of them who would enjoy here. I am dead scared of heights and The various accidents in amusement parks across the world has scared me to the core. So these are just not my kind of place.
ReplyDeleteEven if you don't take the ride, there is always food and other things to enjoy. They also have some baby rides that you can definitely opt for, like I did! :P
DeleteThis looks really cute and quirky. I'd love to visit it one day.
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteAmusement parks are one of my favorite places ever!! Nicento know that there are other great parks besides Disney and Universal
ReplyDeleteI've never been to an amusment park (I know it sounds sad). We don't have that kind of 'tradition' to go to amusement parks and actually we don't have any in my small town. I'm so jealous right know :)
ReplyDeleteHehe :-)
DeleteYou can visit Dreamland when you're in Kent.
I love to go to amusement park. There's a lot of games, and food for sure, and people in customes. It's just a lot of fun in there.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely!
DeleteAmusement parks are really not my thing. I don't dare to go in the attractions. However I like to spend time with family there.
ReplyDeleteThere are some baby rides as well that you can take. Even I am not into the thrill ones.
DeleteNever heard of this place before but it looks so cute and colourful! The jumpin' star looks like a lot of fun :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes. It definitely is! :-)
DeleteOh I didn't know there was an amusement park there! If I am ever in the area will have to visit. The girls would love it.
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteI hate rides and my children don't like them also. The only thing we like is the Dodgem Cars.
ReplyDeleteThey have those as well and the best part is pay as you ride.
DeleteThis place looks absolutely awesome! If I get the chance to visit the UK I definitely want to go here! I love the dream theme! Big Kids & Little Kids, everyone seems like a kid there! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh yes! It's for every age :-)
DeleteI use to be a big fan of thrill rides but I do not think my brain could take that anymore:D I still love to see happy people around in parks making beautiful memories together ♡ x!
ReplyDeleteOh yes. I don't take thrill rides but people really enjoy!
DeleteSounds like fun! This posts reminds me of my teenage when I was keen to try every ride in the amusement park.
ReplyDeleteO wow! :-)
