MONDAY SERIES: Discovering New Businesses & Women Entrepreneurs
"The Monday Series: Discovering New Businesses & Women Entrepreneurs," is therefore dedicated to the extremely talented women who have everything to be THE women entrepreneurs but are tied with lots of household responsibilities.
This is the second post of the series and I have chosen 3 women entrepreneurs from London, United Kingdom. The idea is to promote their businesses and create brand awareness of their
Anni Arain Hair & Make-up Artist
Anni is a qualified make up artist and hair stylist in London. She has been trained by the renowned Lubna Rafiq Academy and is LRA certified. She specialises in all styles of make-up whether it is bridal, party, registry or prom.
When asked about her mission statement, Anni said: "My aim is to enhance your own beauty with the LRA touch. I think every girl is beautiful but sometimes you just want to be glamorised and enhance your natural beauty. I listen to my clients and work with them to achieve the look they desire."
I was just going through her work and I really liked it. Definitely worth trying, you London ladies!
Humy's Fashion
Humy's Fashion is UK based and was launched in 2014 to sell Indian wedding and party designer clothing for both men and women. They also provide custom order services and are launching lots of designs for customers to choose from and order for the desired occasion.
Check out their Facebook page for more designs, click here.
If you are looking for traditional wear, make sure to check out their page. I always dress up in traditional clothes on special occasions and their dresses seem to be reasonably priced.
Ethnic Trends
Based in London, Ethnic Trends was launched in 2011 and they sell the following.- Indian Fashion Fabrics & Designer Women's Suits
- Jewellery and Accessories
- Beautiful hand painted henna candles
When asked about the inception of the brand, the owner said, "I have always had some fondness for bangles and therefore, I keep experimenting with different colours, styles and mix and match combinations. At every occasion my matching bangles have been lovingly worn, earning me compliments galore along with enquiries as to where they could get similar bangle sets. Thus, the idea of Ethnic Trends was born and what we started, was an online experiment by my husband and I. Gradually, we have built up a sizeable collection of eye-catching, unique, ethnic as well as glamorous Indian fashion designer jewellery along with the latest couture collection to suit every occasion and mood."
Further, she added, "Our wide rage of imitation bangles and Indian women's wear will bring to you truly Indian enchanting beauty in all its splendour, making you the centre of attention and winning you compliments wherever you go!"
Check out their collection on their Facebook page, click here.
The products look very nice especially the hand-made Henna candles, so unique and beautiful!

I do have so many things to do in my roles as mother, wife, daughter etc. It can be hard to fit the business in! I have developed a live of jewellery lately so will be checking out the ethnic jewellery.
